Women’s Inspirational Talks
WIT is an international series of talks focused on connecting people through inspiration, knowledge, breaking of norms, empowerment, and networking.
Our first event, in association with Wizard Presents is linked to the show “Perfectly Imperfect Women – a biographical wonder tale“, performed by multi-award winning performer Danyah Miller during the Fringe Festival.
Celebration of International Women’s Day 2018
This event was held at the Dog House in Edinburgh, and was organised in partnership with the Empower Project. The aim was to celebrate International Women’s Day, and to collect donations for the Homeless Period Edinburgh. Original idea, and organisation by our dear Maria Joao Medeiros, an International Relations student from Portugal, who worked with us for 6 months (October 2017 to March 2018).

Fem Tour International Film Festival

The Fem Tour Truck is an international traveling exhibition of video art, short film, documentary film, activism and feminist performance inside and around a truck that tours the public square of several cities.
An exhibition that seeks to criticise the standards established by the patriarchal and believe in the change trough art, connecting the society in the streets by showing audiovisual pieces and making workshops.
